From what I've seen, the latest Hot Prom Dress Designs for this year will have you sparkling and shimmering on the dance floor! There’ll be lovely soft flowing fabrics like charmeuse, organza, lace, lustrous satins, and chiffon, mmm all my favorites. Colours are all the range of jewels - rich and fabulous.

There's lots of beading and ribbon detail, and also very popular are all the glittering rhinestone highlights on most of the designs that I've seen in the latest hot prom dress designs for this season.

A lot of these hot prom dress designs have a high front split with cascading ruffles. (Very sexy if you've got nice legs) Still lots of beading but a bit more subtle this season.

It seems that the length is anyone's choice - long and floating, or with a bustle styled ruffle, or train, or the complete opposite with very short and flouncy.

Some very interesting innovations with hemlines up in front,thigh splits, hems cut at an angle and lots of bubble styles and caught up ends. A showing of trains also with ruffle edges, ruching, feathers and criss-cross lace-ups at the back. Lots of beadwork with tiers, folds and layers or overlays.
OUT – 2 piece outfits, peek-a-boo midriffs (Thank goodness - my midriff should definitely be kept well hidden!)

What’s Hot in Colors – Think rich - Silvers, Golds, beautiful Garnets, Emeralds and Saphires! This year's collections for Prom Dresses are all showing these rich gems of color! Some electric colors are still popular such as rich royal blue.

OUT – Navy, Beige, yellow.

What’s Hot in Fabric – Soft and flowing evening gowns with Charmeuse, Organza, Taffeta, Chiffon

OUT – Stiff, dull and plain fabrics
